International Tours

Chorus Abilene has a history of international touring since 1998, having traveled to England,
Canada, France, Spain, the Carribean, Austria, Italy and Ireland.

Adult chorus members have traveled to Scotland; Vienna, Krakow, & Prague;
Italy and Greece; and most recently Vienna & Salzburg in 2018.

Youth Choirs have been touring every 2-3 years since 1998. They have sung in York & London, in Paris, toured Austria and Italy twice, and in 2016, traveled to Paris & London, with a highlight being our performance at Notre Dame Cathedral. The most recent trip was to Ireland in June, 2019, singing in Killarney and in Cobh Cathedral, as well as in other locations as they toured.

The next youth trip will be to Italy: Venice, Florence, & Rome, June, 2021, dependent upon Covid-19 health conditions. It is possible the trip will be postponed. Any singer who has completed 5th grade (including 1 year in the Youth Chorus) is eligible. The trip is open to family members, as well.
